Bensikin (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a mobile application intended to help nearby users connect and communicate directly. This Privacy Policy explains how we may collect, use, and protect information related to the app and this website.
Bensikin is a communication tool only. It does not provide transport services, does not operate rides, and does not act as a carrier, dispatcher, or transportation provider.
The app may collect and use location data when required for core functionality and when permitted by the user.
Location data is used only to determine proximity between users and enable nearby connections. The app does not display or share a user's exact location with other users by default.
Location information is not exposed directly to other users and is only used internally to support the connection process.
Users may choose to share their location with another user explicitly as part of a direct interaction. Such sharing is always initiated by the user and occurs only in specific cases where the user decides to do so.
When the app is used in driver mode, the application may update location data in the background, even when the app is not actively in use.
This is required to allow nearby users to detect available drivers and initiate direct communication.
Background location is used solely to determine proximity and availability. It is not shared as real-time location data with other users.
Background location access is active only while the user has explicitly enabled driver mode. It can be stopped at any time by leaving driver mode, signing out, or disabling location permissions in device settings.
We may share limited information when necessary to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, protect users, enforce our terms, or work with service providers supporting app infrastructure.
When users choose to connect directly through the app, certain information such as contact details may become visible to the other user as part of that direct connection.
Location data is not shared with other users by default. If location sharing occurs, it happens only when a user explicitly chooses to share their location in a specific interaction.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.
You can control permissions such as location access through your device settings. Background location access can also be revoked separately depending on your device.
You can stop background location tracking at any time by leaving driver mode, signing out, or disabling location permissions.
The app is not intended for children who are below the minimum age required under applicable law.
We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
